Vanessa NeuhausLecturer, Director of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program and Coordinator of the Family Resource Center
Vanessa is a Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. She serves as an adjunct instructor for the Marriage and Family Therapy Program and also serves as the Clinic Coordinator for the Family Resource Center (FRC). Vanessa provides supervision to Marriage and Family Therapy students assigned to the distance therapy internship program and coordinates community outreach and marketing for the Couple and Family Clinic at the FRC. Vanessa's professional focus is on pre-marital therapy, perinatal adjustment and mood disorders, transition to parenthood issues, and grief and trauma work associated with pregnancy and child loss. She has done extensive work in the areas of child development within the context of trauma, parenting psychoeducation, and attachment-informed family therapy with young children.
