Vanessa NeuhausLecturer, Director of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program and Coordinator of the Family Resource Center
Vanessa is a Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. She serves as a Lecturer and Director for the Marriage and Family Therapy Program and as the Clinic Coordinator for the Family Resource Center (FRC). Vanessa provides supervision to Marriage and Family Therapy students assigned to the distance therapy internship program and coordinates community outreach and marketing for the Couple and Family Clinic. She is an EMDR certified therapist and provides consultation and supervision to students who are engaged in EMDR training offered in conjunction with the MFT program of study. Vanessa's clinical focus is on perinatal mood disorders and their impact on parent identity and bonding, affair recovery, betrayal and attachment trauma, and grief and trauma associated with pregnancy and child loss.
