Procedures for continuous appointment (tenure) and promotion are established by the Board of Regents Bylaws and by academic tradition. The Department must also follow the policies and procedures established by the Office of Academic Affairs and/or IANR, as well as the College of Education and Human Sciences.
Effective 2014, faculty with IANR appointments (Extension and/or Agricultural Research Division) must submit an electronic copy of all promotion documents as well as the paper copy. The electronic copy will be circulated through IANR channels. The paper copy will be circulated through the CEHS channels.
