Sarah Erwin

Sarah is a PhD candidate in Human Sciences, with a specialization in Global Family Health and Wellbeing. During the program, she has worked with Dr. Dalla on numerous projects related to human trafficking and vulnerable populations, both domestically and internationally. For her dissertation, Sarah’s research explores the developmental experiences of adult children of exotic dancers, examining socio-emotional developmental outcomes, trauma, stigma, and resilience. Upon graduation, Sarah plans to continue conducting research with marginalized groups, particularly surrounding human trafficking and the commercial sex industry.
