University Textbook Ordering Services

The 2008 Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA), mandates that any University or College that receives federal financial aid or grants is required to submit all course materials for an upcoming term by the time registration opens. This means that ordering course books (required and supplemental) begins about four months prior to the start of the term in which the course is being taught. The process is accomplished via email request forms handled by a department administrative assistant. A form must be submitted for each course offered, even if no text is required, so the bookstore can account for student questions.

Textbooks and materials ordered for most CYAF courses will be sold through the University Bookstore located on City Campus. The East Campus bookstore will also carry some of the textbooks and materials. Instructors may want to check on orders to be sure they have arrived and are available for student purchase prior to the start of the semester.
