Bill Coby, Jr. joined the department in the fall of 2019 as a Graduate Assistant working with the department. Bill is a student in the Ed.D in Educational Studies program with an emphasis in Educational Leadership and Higher Education. Bill's work involves a variety of research, teaching, and/or administrative tasks for the department. Bill has worked professionally in higher education since 2010. During this time, he has served in previous roles in compliance, residence life, diversity, equal employment & title IX, academic support, and athletics at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Northeast Community College, and University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Originally from St. Louis Missouri, Bill is a former NCAA Division I basketball player who played at Washington State University and Missouri State University. He was also a walk-on football player while at Missouri State University.
