Mary Beth Lehmanowsky

Professor of Practice

Dr. Lehmanowsky is interested in examining school culture, personnel management, equitable access to quality education, the effects of poverty on learning and systems thinking. She spent much of her career in secondary education and human resources and has a thorough understanding of school leadership and personnel management in practice. Her current outreach work includes involvement with Learning Partners (Lincoln Public Schools), Leadership 2, and principal mentoring.

Teaching and advising

Dr. Lehmanowsky is interested in working with students who want to focus on building leadership skills and working with educational leaders. She teaches the following courses: EDAD 851 (Faculty and Staff Appraisal), EDAD 903 (The School and Community Relations), EDAD 811 (Administrative Practicum), and EDAD 890 (Human Resources Management in P-12 Education).
