Tracy Lungrin Affiliate Faculty

Tracy hold's a master’s degree in Counseling-Student Affairs from The University of Nebraska at Kearney and has worked in a variety of student development roles in her 25-year career including Admissions, Residence Life, Fraternity/Sorority Life, and Career Services. She has also flexed her entrepreneurial side by spending 10+ years researching and developing an educational tech career matching system, writing a book, and developing and delivering engaging and deep-dive training around the Holland Codes and Holland Theory.

She is dedicated to making career education more personalized and impactful, which has led her team in developing some dynamic tools and resources, including career pathways and career interest communities that help students connect to meaningful work, gain greater vocational clarity and increase greater self-awareness and career decision making. She enjoys leading and collaborating with a high-performing, diverse team of professionals across campus who all care deeply about helping students break into their fields of interest. She also has the pleasure of leading a small employer relations and development team we work with hundreds of employers to facilitate as many diverse career opportunities and experiences as possible for UNL students.

In her free time, you can probably find her plotting out her plan to play all of Nebraska's 220+ golf courses, streaming all the good shows, eating my favorite takeout from The Oven, jamming (loudly) to her favorite music, and spending time with her partner, family, and many dear friends.
