02 Nov 2016

Professor Susan Swearer, Educational Psychology, will be presenting with Lincoln attorney Corey Stull at the 98th annual Nebraska State Education Conference in a special pre-conference session Nov. 16 in La Vista, Nebraska. Swearer, a nationally recognized researcher and speaker on school bullying, will discuss the psychological impacts of school bullying and Stull, from the Perry Law firm in Lincoln, will cover legal aspects for school leaders. Their session will cover everything from defending a bullying lawsuit to tips that may help avoid such suits in the first place, including an emphasis on helping both the victims and perpetrators of school bullying. The State Education Conference is co-sponsored by the Nebraska Association of School Boards and the Nebraska Association of School Administrators.
