All students are pursuing advanced degrees in education or a related field, with emphasis on motivation, health behavior, health education, disease prevention, and health promotion. As much as possible students from other countries are encouraged to use the skills and knowledge gained in their U.S. education to design and carry out research in their home countries as part of their research training and dissertation activities.
