1981
I lived on East Campus the first year and a half in college and met so many new and now life long friends. Those connections and friendships are my fondest memories!
After getting my BS in Home Economics (now you know I am old--that major doesn't even exist!) I moved to Texas for warmer weather and completed my clinical experience at Texas Woman's University so I could become a Registered Dietitian. After working as a clinical and managerial dietitian, I then moved to pharmaceutical sales. I am now working as a Certified Diabetes Educator.
UNL gave me the educational foundation for the academic part of my career and also gave me the opportunity to learn important life and social skills to be successful through my involvement in student and leadership activities including Greek membership and campus organizations.
Get involved in whatever organization or activity that interests you! This presents the opportunity to meet potentially life-long friends and wonderful memories!
