Information on expenses related to attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree can be found at http://admissions.unl.edu/value/
Additional costs for students enrolled in the Didactic Program in Nutrition and Dietetics include lab fees associated with courses requiring labs and car travel required for off-campus class requirements. Optional expenses are for student membership ($50.00) in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (which is highly recommended). As a student member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, students are automatically members of the Nebraska Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Students can choose to become student members of the NAND-Lincoln District with an additional membership fee required.
Students in the Nutrition and Dietetics are not required to complete a drug testing or background check. However, certain employment and/or volunteer activities that the student chooses to complete may require drug testing and/or background check. This will be paid for by the student.
See http://financialaid.unl.edu/ for more information on financial aid at UNL.
Students are responsible for having a valid driver’s license and car insurance for travel to and from assigned areas which is required to meet specific course expectations and requirements.
