Program Costs

Information on expenses related to tuition and fees for attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree can be found at http://studentaccounts.unl.edu/tuition-fees.

Additional costs for students enrolled in the Didactic Program in Nutrition and Dietetics include textbooks and lab fees associated with courses requiring labs and car travel required for off-campus class requirements. Optional expenses are for student membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (which is highly recommended). As a student member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, students are automatically members of the Nebraska Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (NAND) and the NAND-East Region with no additional membership fees required.

Students in the Nutrition and Dietetics are not required to complete a drug testing or background check.  However, certain employment and/or volunteer activities that the student chooses to complete may require drug testing and/or background check.  This will be paid for by the student.
