The University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the affiliating institutions are not liable for any injury or accident occurring during travel to and from assigned areas. Dietetic interns are to be covered under a personal liability/auto insurance for daily travel to and from assigned affiliations and experiences.
Dietetic Interns will be covered under the University Student Trip Insurance for specified program experiences where interns are traveling outside the city of Lincoln. This cost will be paid by the internship program. Student Trip Insurance provides $30,000 accidental death and $2500 medical costs reimbursement for accidental injury.
