Program Goals and Objectives:
Goal 1: Provide graduates a high quality education program for admission into and success in completing a supervised dietetics practice program.
Objectives:
- At least 80% of program students complete program/degree requirements within 3 years (150% of the program length).
- 90% of program directors who respond to a request for feedback will indicate that the graduate(s) completing their program were prepared or well prepared for supervised practice.
- The program’s one-year pass rate (graduates who pass the registration exam within one year of first attempt) on the CDR credentialing exam for dietitian nutritionists is at least 80%.
- The program's first time pass rate on the CDR credentialing exam for dietitian nutritionists is at least 80% over a five year period.
- 75% of program graduates apply for admission to a supervised practice program prior to or within 12 months of graduation.
- 70% of program graduates are admitted to a supervised practice program within 12 months of graduation.
Goal 2: Prepare graduates for a variety of employment opportunities that will address the nutrition and health needs of individuals and families in Nebraska and beyond its borders.
Objectives:
- A minimum of 50% of graduates (over a three year period) who did not apply to or were not accepted into a supervised practice program will be accepted into graduate programs or other post-baccalaureate programs within 12 months of graduation that address the nutrition or heath needs of individuals and families in Nebraska and beyond its borders.
- At least 90% respondents (over a three year period) will indicate employment in a dietetics-related position following completion of supervised practice program.
