By bridging disciplines across campus, Janos Zempleni is working on an emerging field called nutrigenomics. In the future, nutrigenomics could potentially be able to match foods with an individual's unique genetic makeup to prevent disease.

Su Presents at 11th Chinese Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Conference in China.
Dr. Qiaozhu Su, an assistant professor in the Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences at UNL was invited by the Chinese Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology to present her research work at the 11th Chinese Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Scientific Conference held on August 21-23, 2014, Xiamen, China.

$11.3 Million Award Received from NIH for the Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases
This August, Dr. Janos Zempleni, Director of the Nebraska Gateway to Nutrigenomics, secured $11.3 million in funding from the National Institutes of Health for the creation of a research center.
