Dr. Jeyamkondan Subbiah is a food engineer, whose research interests are novel food processing technologies and processing effects on bioactives in foods. He has developed high-voltage pulsed electric field processing as a pretreatment technology to enhance extraction of bioactives from various food and food processing wastes.
