Diane Farrand, Ed.S., CCC-SLP, is a lecturer in the Barkley Speech Language and Hearing Clinic. Her professional areas of interest include language and literacy, craniofacial disorders, and aural rehabilitation.
Along with Diane's clinic teaching, she is responsible for the coordination and supervision of off-campus practica for the Speech Language and Hearing Clinic. Diane is a member of the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Medically Handicapped Children's Craniofacial Team providing service to the clinics in Lincoln and North Platte.
Diane is a member of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), Nebraska Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSLHA) and the American Cleft Palate Association. She joined the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders after 21 years as a speech-language pathologist and program supervisor for Education Service Unit #9, Hastings, Nebraska.
