Audiology, speech-language pathology set dates for fall graduate open houses

08 Sep 2022     By Kelcey Buck

The graduate programs in audiology and speech-language pathology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln have set the dates for three open house events for prospective students in Fall 2022.

Students interested in Nebraska’s master’s program in speech-language pathology have two opportunities to learn about the program – a virtual open house from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, and an in-person open house from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11.

The clinical doctorate in audiology (Au.D.) program is hosting one in-person open house for prospective students from 12-5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28.

All three events will feature quality group and individual conversations with faculty and current students. Information about clinical, academic and research aspects of the programs will be detailed, as well as opportunities for individual advising and transcript review. The program application process and available financial aid will also be thoroughly explained.

Learn more about the open houses and register to attend at go.unl.edu/slpa-open-house. Any questions about the open houses can be directed to Jill England, graduate coordinator in the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders, at jill.england@unl.edu.
