SECD Brown Bag sessions return Sept. 7

The Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders has scheduled six brown bag sessions during the fall semester, beginning Friday, Sept. 7. All presentations are set to begin at 11 a.m. in room 101 of the Barkley Memorial Center.

The brown bag sessions for the upcoming semester are listed below.

Sept. 7: Strategies for job interviewing
–Sherri Jones, professor and department chair

Sept. 21: Student presentation
–Avantika Mathur, postdoctoral student

Oct. 5: How to make a five-year plan
–Faculty panel

Oct. 19: Writing after Traumatic Brain Injury: Impact of Injury and Recommendations for Assessment and Treatment
–Carly Dinnes, Ph.D. candidate in human sciences

Nov. 2: ASHA posters and presentations
–Various students and faculty

 Dec. 7: Functional Connectivity of Saltatory Pneumotactile Velocity in Human Glabrous Hand
–Yingying Wang, assistant professor
