Cindy Linzell is a third-year doctoral student in the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education. She completed her Masters degree in TLTE at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2017. She also holds a B.A. in Spanish and International Studies from Miami University (1990) and a B.S. in Spanish Education with an ESL Endorsement from Ohio State University (1994). She is a certified K-12 Spanish teacher with an ELL Endorsement from the State of Nebraska.
Cindy is a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education. She is also a Graduate Research Assistant, working with Dr. Kara Viesca on the International Consortium for Multilingual Excellence in Education (ICMEE).
Teacher education is Cindy’s area of interest, especially as it relates to working with multilingual students in mainstream classrooms. Cindy's advisor is Dr. Jenelle Reeves.
