Brief Biography
Maria Eleanor is a first year TLTE PhD student at UNL. She has over 15 years of pre-school teaching experience both in the Philippines and here in the United States. She has a Bachelor in Elementary Education, with specialization in Early Childhood Education from the Assumption College in Manila, Philippines. She obtained her Master in Education from Strayer University in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining the Lincoln Public School System here in Nebraska, Maria Eleanor worked for school systems in Maryland and Washington, DC.
Research Interests
Early childhood education, curriculum instruction, special education, and public school systems.
