Eleven CEHS Students Earn Academic All-Big Ten Honors

Eleven CEHS students out of 51 Nebraska student-athletes have been awarded Academic All-Big Ten Honors. Students must be in their second academic year, be a letterwinner, and maintain a 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average to be eligible for the Academic All-Big Ten selection.

Football:

  • Taariq Allen, Senior - Child, Youth & Family Studies – 3 time honoree
  • Joshua Kalu, Sophomore - Nutrition Science
  • Chris Long, Senior - Child, Youth & Family Studies
  • Chris Weber, Senior - Nutrition Science – 2 time honoree

Cross Country:

  • Wyatt McGuire, Sophomore - Elementary Education
  • Bonnie Smith, Junior - Elementary Education – 2 time honoree

Volleyball:

  • Justine Wong-Orantes, Junior - Child, Youth & Family Studies – 2 time honoree
  • Annika Albrecht, Sophomore - Child, Youth & Family Studies
  • Olivia Boender, Sophomore - Child, Youth & Family Studies

Soccer:

  • Amanda Hilton, Sophomore - Elementary & Special Education K-6
