TeacherCon

June 17-22, Atlanta, GA | July 22-27, Phoenix, AZ

Fifty eight middle and high school CS teachers all across Nebraska (see the map below) are participating in Code.org TeacherCon (5-day intense CS Ed  workshop) either in Atlanta, GA or Phoenix, AZ this summer. These workshops are offered at no cost to them thanks to Code.org's effort and philosophy that the cost should not be a barrier for teachers to get professional learning.

Some local businesses that support CS education in Nebraska also donated some prizes for our CS teachers, which we will be giving away at the Wednesday Fun Community Event planned during the TeacherCon Atlanta.

  • Teaching the course during the 2018-19 school year (requires the principal approval)
