Lydia NeumanHead of Exhibitions, International Quilt Study Center & Museum
Lydia’s experience in the visual arts, interior design, and arts education has been underpinned by a lifelong affection for textiles in general, and quilts in particular. She received a BFA in Printmaking from Rhode Island School of Design, a BA in English from Bucknell, and a master’s degree in Textiles from UT Austin, where her research focused on the ways in which geometry and culture inform one another.
Originally from New York City, Lydia is delighted to be living in Lincoln, and working to plan and produce exhibitions that inspire multi-disciplinary consideration of the significance of quilts and quiltmaking.
