My research primarily focuses on improving service quality and innovation of fashion and retail companies. I have investigated retail services, exploring ways to satisfy consumers' demands and adjust to a rapidly changing market environment. My current research interest is retail technology innovations and personalizing strategies using big data analytics. Specifically, my current research projects study smart retail technology (SRT) and self-service retail technology (SSRT) and examine their impacts on consumer behavior. In my teaching area of merchandising, I teach merchandising I and II, textile and apparel merchandising promotion, international retail expansion, and theory development integrating advanced retail technologies and data analytics.
