TCD joined forces with all of the College of Education and Human Sciences' departments as well as numerous other colleges and departments from across the university at this year's Panhandle Big Red Road Show, held at the Fairgrounds in Mitchell, Nebraska. The afternoon of Saturday March 20th saw a steady stream of Panhandle residents maneuver their way along the "routes" of the show displays, meeting and being greeted by faculty, staff and students. Merchandising majors Jordan Wilson of Los Angeles, CA and Shelby Steele of Scottsbluff joined department chair Michael James and his wife Judith, a TCD alumna, in representing the department and its programs. "This was a great opportunity to let the residents of the Panhandle know that we are interested in them and that we offer a variety of programs that can fulfill the career objectives of their young folk," said James. "Numerous visitors expressed their thanks for our coming out their way, and it was a great pleasure being there. It's a beautiful part of the state and the people are so welcoming."
