TCD students publish 4th edition of THIS SEASON fashion magazine

The Winter/Spring 2010 edition of THIS Season magazine recently appeared and quickly disappeared, a testament to its popularity and its appeal as an indicator of fashion trends on the UNL campus and around town. A collaboration between TCD majors and downtown Lincoln apparel vendors, salons and other local businesses, THIS Season has proven itself with inventive photography and layout work, the latest styles and looks, and a fresh and cutting edge sensibility. TCD design major Madison Simmons served as editor-in-chief for this latest issue, and headed a team that included contributing writers Jessica Heerten and Danielle Tucker, photographers Stanley Jones, Rachel Sullivan and Nathan Estenson, and "go-getters" Danielle Tucker, Amber Reeble, Rachel Jensen and Kate Andreasen. Anu Salon provided hair styling and makeup for select shoots, and TCD grad Mary Pattavina (M.A. 2009) provided samples of the handcrafted hats that she creates for her "Pretty Good Things" label. Kudos to all of the participating students, alums and their friends and supporters for continuing to raise the bar for student-produced publications.
