  • At the master's level, we offer two options for the master of arts (MA) degree in Educational Administration:

    1. Our MA in educational administration - community colleges or higher education is as an exclusively online program designed to serve the needs of those already employed at a college or university who seek to advance their careers in administration. This program offers students the opportunity to grow their leadership   and administrative skills through a rigorous, entirely online degree.
    2. Our MA in educational administration - student affairs administration specialization is as an on-campus program designed to offer student the opportunity to grow their understanding of various student experiences and be future leaders of the profession. Students learn approaches to advising students, planning  programs, and developing policies through a deep exploration of current literature, applying theory to practical situations, and implementing solutions that  account for the diversity of the study body and the importance of equity in eduation.
  • Our Community College Leadership Certificate is for individuals already employed at a community college. Individuals who are in, or aspire to an instructional leadership appointment or senior administrative position will find this program beneficial to their personal and professional advancement. The certificate can be completed as a stand-alone credential. Some students subsequently apply and are admitted to an EdD program and request that credit hours completed in the certificate program be accepted in a graduate program of study.
