Elevating Haitian Education Donation Drive

Every year, our program donates back-to-school items on behalf of the Elevating Haitian Education Organization, which was founded by Dr. Sue Sheridan to support the education of children in Haiti! All donated items go directly to the children who need them in order to attend school with the material they need to be successful.

School Psychology Awareness Week

During School Psychology Awareness Week (SPAW), our program engages in many exciting activities to spread the word about School Psychology and the UNL program! Informational booths are set-up (with free cookies of course!), students will visit undergraduate psychology courses and answer questions, and fun engagement activites are put together to encourage more involvement and interest in the field.

Program Food Drive 2015

Once again our program put on a holiday food drive! Each doctoral seminar donated food products that were most needed at our local Food Bank, as well as money for the Food Bank to use on whatever was necessary. With each dollar or item being one point, our program as a whole donated nearly 2,000 points! Dr. Swearer and her advisees again donated the most items and retained the Golden Whisk!
