Emergencies and Crisis Situations

If there is an imminent danger to self or others, call 911, call the University of Nebraska-Lincoln police department at 402-472-2222, or go to the nearest emergency room.

If you are feeling threatened, make sure you are safe (remember run/hide/fight) and then contact the Police.

UNL Report (https://unlreport.unl.edu/) expands the methods by which any member of the university community can share matters they feel need to be elevated or addressed. This is not an emergency report system. Incident types include:

  • Climate/Culture
  • Discrimination
  • Mental Health and Well-being
  • Sexual Misconduct
  • Violation of University Policy
