The purpose of the internship program is to provide learning experiences that are supervised by preceptors and other professional staff members. The intern is not to replace employees. However, interns can be expected to perform a variety of duties in order to meet the needs of the facility of a particular day as would be expected of a preceptor or professional staff member.
