Burton and Jorgensen receive 2019 CEHS awards

15 Apr 2019

Dr. Jennifer Jorgensen, Assistant Professor in the department of Textiles Merchandising & Fashion Design has been selected as one of three recipients of the 2019 College of Education and Human Sciences Outstanding Teaching Award. The committee was impressed with her contributions and excellence in teaching. These are already very well known to us in the department, and it’s great to have Jennybeth’s contributions acknowledged by the College.

Michael Burton, Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Textiles, Merchandising & Fashion Design has been selected for the College-wide Distinguished Research and Creative Career Award, in honor of his quality research/creative work in the College of Education and Human Sciences. All of us in the department have long appreciated Michael’s creativity and inventiveness in fusing that with his pedagogy and student mentoring.
