! Due to ongoing concerns about the spread of COVID-19, visitors to the gallery over two years of age are required to use a facial covering at all times when indoors on the UNL campus.

Students in the Department of Textiles, Merchandising & Fashion Design’s Textile and Apparel Merchandising and Promotion course will be putting their visual merchandising skills to the test to create a comprehensive display in The Robert Hillestad Gallery.  In the past, consumers would purchase products whenever and wherever they had access.  In contrast, today’s retailers must go above and beyond to create a visual and memorable experience for the consumer.  To take on this industry challenge, students in the course will utilize the principles and elements of design to draw in the consumer, promote the product, and become a ‘first of mind’ brand.
