Student Teaching Application

According to the undergraduate bulletin, the following requirements must be met PRIOR to student teaching:

• Successful completion of  all content and methods courses with the appropriate grades;
• Completion of a culturally diverse experience during a practicum (if not completed your student teaching assignment will be made to meet this requirement); 
• A criminal background check through the University site at your expense will be required.

Please note: You will be responsible for the contents of the Student Teaching Handbook when you begin your student teaching assignment. This includes reading and understanding The College of Education & Human Sciences Professional and Ethical Behavior Policy.  An electronic copy of the Student Teaching Handbook is available on the website.

Application Instructions

You will need to fillout the Personal and Professional Fitness Form and attach it in the appropriate spot as part of the application below.  You also should fill out the Basic Skills Acknowledgement webform if you have NOT taken and passed the Praxis Core!
