Xiaoqing Tu is a fourth year graduate student working towards her Ph.D. in Child, Youth, and Family Studies at UNL. She is broadly interested in children's social emotional development and its relation to teacher-child interaction and family context. She is also interested in children's development in immigrant families. Specifically, she focuses on preschooler's emotion regulation skills and its affecting factors. Xiaoqing recently moved to Indiana to be with her husband while she finishes her Ph.D.
