The Nebraska Writing Research Group was organized in 2009 to drive innovative writing research. At that time, core members included doctoral students and faculty in the Cognition, Learning and Instruction Program in the Educational Psychology Department at UNL. Their interests in research on writing in academic spaces were the foundation for the present NWRG. Today, NWRG is still attracting new writing researchers who continue fresh and exciting lines of writing research. At this site, you will learn a bit about what NWRG members are doing and what we have done in the past. You will meet members of the group, learn about their interests, and also learn about some of our alumni members.
