I enjoyed the class schedule and independence so different than High School. Loved going to my first ever Husker football game. Was a new experience living in a city, as I was raised on a farm in central Nebraska and attended a small high school.
I worked as a Registered Dietitian for 10 years after graduating. Started an Ambulance and Air Medical business with my husband in 1986. I eventually became a paramedic. Dispatch, billing and insurance and management were areas of the company I worked in.
My time at UNL made me realize there are many paths to be taken and if you are open to opportunities - the world is endless!
