WE ARE SEEKING FAMILIES TO PARTICIPATE IN A RESEARCH STUDY

 What is Project SPaRK?

Project SPaRK is a research study run by the Security and Social Development Lab in the College of Education and Human Sciences at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. Our research focuses on promoting youth resiliency in the face of peer relationship problems. Project SPaRK is a study about how parents support a children who has experienced peer victimization or bullying.

 Who is eligible?

Families are eligible to participate if they have a child between the ages of 10 and 16 who has experienced peer victimization or bullying at least once within the last two years. Family members must understand and speak fluent English.

 What is required?

Families will be invited to our research lab at UNL’s city campus to complete a series of activities, surveys, interviews, and discussions. Visits will last approximately three hours. Families will receive $90 for their participation. Childcare is available for additional siblings during the visit.
