What was your favorite part about your time at UNL?

I loved my professors. They were always ready to help, guide and share relevant experiences with me.

What career did you pursue after you graduated?

I am a Teacher of the Visually Impaired and this is my 30th year teaching. I completed this degree in 1998, then returned to complete my certification as a Transition Specialist and completed a Masters in Special Educaiton in 2008.

What kind of impact did UNL have on your career? OR How did you use the start UNL gave you?

It greatly impacted my career as an educator and opened up new opportunities as a specialized teacher of the blind and visually impaired.

What is one piece of advice you would like to give to current and upcoming students?

Never stop learning. If you put limits on what you want to accomplish you will never become who you are meant to be. There is always time to continue your education, you just have to decide to do it!
