Hayley Jackson

Research Interests:  coaching in early childhood settings; professional development of early childhood teachers

Hayley Jackson is the 2020-2021 recipient of the Judith A. Weber Fellowship, an award specifically dedicated for students who have expressed a desire to pursue a career in Extension following graduation. This award recognizes Hayley’s dedication to professional growth and scholarly development, her positive contributions to the Lincoln community through her graduate assistantship work at the Malone Center, and her involvement in Extension trainings with CYAF faculty. Hayley is currently a doctoral student in the Child Development/Early Childhood Education program. Originally from Lincoln, NE, Hayley received her B.S. in Human Development & Family Studies from Arizona State University. She subsequently received her M.S. in Human Development & Family Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood from Colorado State University. Hayley’s faculty mentors are Drs. Helen Raikes and Rachel Schachter.
