The Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases (NPOD) hosted the 11th Annual Spring Retreat on April 17, 2019. The retreat is always a free, day-long event for faculty, postdocs, students, staff, industry partners, and other interested parties offering an opportunity to explore relevant topics and to network with fellow researchers in academia and industry. The speakers this year were internationally recognized experts on the topic of “Childhood Obesity.”
Programming concluded with a poster competition for graduate students and postdocs. 24 posters were entered, and four cash prizes were awarded.
