As a farm girl from a small town I would say my favorite part of my time at UNL was the time spent on both campuses and the opportunity to meet so many people from different backgrounds. The opportunity was limited only by my time and the energy I wanted to expend and it was the best place to be at any time.
Extension agent with the University of Nebraska in the panhandle with offices in Alliance, Bridgeport and Sheridan county.
They gave me the launching pad to begin the career I had dreamed of. To be able to impact people in an informal educational setting was a dream come true and it was because of the people who taught me at UNL.
Be involved and active and meet as many people and opportunities as possible.
