Shannon Rowen, assistant professor of practice in Hospitality, Restaurant and Tourism Management, has been appointed to the city of Lincoln personnel board by Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler. The Lincoln City Council approved the appointment Aug. 15.
Fayrene Hamouz, associate professor in Nutrition and Health Sciences, has been recognized with a lifetime achievement award from the Nebraska Restaurant Association.
