Hospitality Management Internship Series
- HRTM 172 Field Experience in Hospitality Management
An approved supervised individual field experience in hospitality management employment (150 hours) with a qualified, practicing professional within the Hospitality Industry (Club Management, Food & Beverage, Lodging, Human Resources, Event Planning, and Tourism). - HRTM 397 Internship in Hospitality Management Supervision
An approved and supervised entry-level supervisory experience in hospitality management (150 hours) within the Hospitality Industry (Club Management, Food & Beverage, Lodging, Human Resources, Event Planning, and Tourism) supervising the performance or operation of a person or group. - HRTM 476 Internship in Hospitality Management
This is the final (capstone) internship in the Hospitality Management internship series. The purpose of the final internship is for the student to:- develop or apply the necessary skills to function as an entry level manager in the hospitality industry
- build entry level management professional opportunities for growth and development
- become familiar with management practices, culture, expectations and workforce in hospitality operations
