American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation (AHLEF) Self-Nominated Scholarships
Award amount $500-$7500

Eligibility Criteria list:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to a foodservice career.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited program that will lead to an undergraduate degree in a field of study designed to prepare students for careers in foodservice, or related areas.

Eligibility Criteria list:

  • Enrolled in at leader 12 credit hours for both the upcoming Fall and Spring semesters

  • No letters of recommendation required

International Association of Exhibitions and Events Helen Brett Scholarship
Award amount: Up to $5,000 in tuition assistance, Consideration will be given for scholarship recipients to have an internship experience at Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition

Eligibility Criteria list:

  • Full-time student enrolled at an accredited college, university, junior or technical college in a degree program focusing on exhibition/event management
  • Minimum 3.0 grade point average on 4.0 scale

National Restaurant Association
Award Amount $2500 - $10,000

Eligibility Criteria list:

  • Enrolled or accepted as a full time or part time undergraduate student at an accredited post-secondary institution, college, or university for the upcoming year
  • Majoring in an undergraduate level restaurant, foodservice or hospitality-related program
  • Plan to be enrolled for at least two consecutive undergraduate terms or on track to complete an undergraduate degree within one term
  • Two letters of recommendation by faculty and/or from exhibition industry leader

Nebraska Admirals Association Scholarship
Award amount: $1,000 Scholarships

Each spring, the Nebraska Admirals Association awards scholarships, through an application, interview and essay submission process, to students with junior status in the Travel & Tourism program at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and a student with junior status in the Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Management program at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. 

  • Students must be U.S. citizens 
  • Must attach resume and essay, not exceeding 400 words, describing your school and community contributions and career goals 
  • Winners are required to attend the Nebraska Admirals Luncheon on date TBA in North Platte, Nebraska.

Joe Perdue Scholarship

The Club Foundation awards scholarships based on the availability of funds and merit of application. Scholarship awards are made at the recommendation of The Club Foundation Allocation Committee (CFAC) and approved by the Board of Governors. The scholarship award is made directly to the registrar at the college or university the recipient attends.

Who Should Apply: Any individual who is actively seeking a managerial career in the club industry and is currently attending an accredited, four-year college or university undergraduate program, may apply for the Joe Perdue Scholarship for aid.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must provide strong evidence that they are pursuing managerial careers in the private club industry. A candidate must have completed his/her freshman year of college and be enrolled for the full upcoming academic year in an accredited four-year institution. In addition, the candidate must have achieved and continue to maintain a grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, or 4.5 on a 6.0 scale.

Student Chapter Grant Program
Award amount: Award amount: up to $500.

This annual grant program for Club Managers Association of America Student Chapters is comprised of two parts: a complimentary student registration to the CMAA World Conference for the Chapter President and a matching-funds travel grant to assist with expenses related to attending the Conference.

All current student chapters automatically receive a voucher for the complimentary Conference student registration. To receive the matching-funds travel grant, the student chapter must submit an official application and verify that they have raised funds which are then matched dollar for dollar by The Club Foundation up to a maximum of $500. All student chapters of CMAA are eligible to apply. In order to qualify the student chapter must:

  • Hold a fundraising event
  • Submit President’s Annual Report
  • Submit Current Chapter Budget
  • Submit Application for Grant
  • Submit Grantee Form stipulating that funds previously received were used for their intended purpose

The annual application deadline is October 1st!
