UNL-Tabitha Memory Workshop begins new session at Barkley Clinic Sept. 14

The Barkley Speech Language and Hearing Clinic is set to host another session of its eight-week memory workshop in collaboration with Tabitha Health Care, beginning Sept. 14. 

The weekly workshop is designed to help adults develop strategies to maintain sharp memories as they age. Originally started in 2014 for people with diagnosed memory loss, the workshop is open to adults concerned about and/or interested in learning more about memory and strategies to enhance their thinking skills.

150 SECD students named to Spring 2022 Deans' List

A total of 150 students in SECD were named to the Deans' List for the 2022 spring semester. To qualify for the Deans' List in the College of Education and Human Sciences, students must earn a 3.75 GPA over a minimum of 12 graded semester hours, while being enrolled full-time.

To say an American Sign Language course Byron Ross took as an undergraduate psychology major altered his career path would be an understatement. Ross was a senior at the University of Central Arkansas when his instructor for the course invited him to observe a speech therapy session at the campus speech-language pathology clinic.
