About the AMPLab
The Amplification and Perception Lab (AMPLab) is housed in the Barkley Memorial Center on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's East Campus. We study the influence of hearing aids on the perception of sound, with the goal of using this information to improve the ability of children and adults with hearing loss to communicate.
How to Get Involved
We are currently looking for adults age 19 years and older with normal hearing or hearing loss. If you fit into one of these categories, please contact us by emailing amplab@unl.edu or calling 402-472-3132 to schedule an appointment. Our studies take about 3-4 hours to complete. We will compensate you for your time and, potentially, mileage.
