Mabel Lee Hall prioritized for future renovation

Mabel Lee Hall, a mainstay of the College of Education and Human Sciences, is on the short list for proposed capital improvement funding. The University of Nebraska and the state would continue a long and successful partnership to maintain the quality and functionality of NU buildings under a 12-year capital plan announced Dec. 3 by President Hank Bounds. The proposal, endorsed unanimously by the Board of Regents at its Dec. 3 meeting, will be brought to the legislature and governor for consideration in the 2016 session.

College of Education and Human Sciences Collegewide Food Drive

The College of Education and Human Sciences is hosting a collegewide food drive for the Food Bank of Lincoln from Dec. 3-15. Donation barrels will be placed in Henzlik Hall, Teachers College Hall, Mabel Lee Hall, Human Sciences Building , and Leverton Hall.

Our goal is to reach 500 donated food items. If we reach that goal, we will celebrate with donuts on Jan. 11 in the Human Sciences Building and Henzlik Hall.
