Quilt scholar Dr. Virginia Gunn to present public lecture Dec. 6

Part English, Part German, Fully American:  Influences on Red & Green Appliqued Quilts, a free public lecture will be presented by Dr. Virginia Gunn a quilt scholar, author, and professor at the University of Akron on December 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., Human Sciences Building Room 31.

CEHS undergraduate and graduate students will share their work with fellow students, faculty and other educators and community members Saturday, Nov. 14 at Teachers College Hall and the Henzlik Hub. Other UNL students and recent alums who have engaged in the study of education and/or human sciences have also been invited to share.

The aim of the conference is to give students an opportunity to showcase their work and dialogue with peers and mentors about important issues in education and the human sciences.
