Nutrition and Exercise

Comprehensive Exam:

Typically, the exam is a take-home format (open-book, open resources) where the student has one week to complete the exam.

The exam questions are sent via email to the student on the first day of the exam in the morning, and the exam with responses must be sent back to the faculty advisor after the student completes the exam on a due date. Typically, there are 5-6 questions from the courses the students have taken from the major course (prefix “NUTR”); however, practical application type of question(s) may be included.

A specific writing style (e.g., APA, AMA, etc.) shall be instructed by the faculty advisor, and each exam question with answers/responses in a paragraph format shall be sent back to the faculty advisor.

The faculty advisor then sends the student’s responses to the other corresponding faculty who created the question(s) for grading.
