The Educational Administration (EDAD) program welcomes international scholars who share our dedication to globally engaged educational leadership. Our Visiting Scholar Program offers a distinctive opportunity to:

Eligibility

  • Hold a PhD or be currently enrolled in a doctoral program.
  • Obtain confirmed sponsorship from a UNL faculty member within your area of expertise.
  • Fulfill English language proficiency and background check requirements.
  • Pay the EDAD program fee, which varies based on the duration of stay: $1500 for an academic year, $800 for a semester, and $500 for stays shorter than 60 days.

Application Process:

  1. Connect with a Faculty Sponsor: Identify a faculty member in EDAD at UNL whose research aligns with your own and discuss your objectives for the visit.
  2. Prepare Your Application: Submit a one-page letter outlining your research interests, proposed duration of stay, and the mutual benefits of your visit to EDAD. Include your CV and confirmation of UNL faculty sponsorship.
  3. Application Guidance: Once the department confirms your visit with EDAD, we will guide you through the complete application process.
